When you complete a ‘Membership Form’ certain personal information is collected from you and all such information is held on secure servers. The DMVGA complies fully with all applicable areas of the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR of 2016. and will treat all your personal information as confidential. This will only be used for golf related matters, including age divisions in competitions, orders of play, and eligibility to play in any and all of the Association’s competitions and matches.
We will never pass your personal details to any third party other than our database, which is held on the Intelligent Golf System, used by “Devon Golf Ltd”., formerly known as “The Devon County Golf Union”
We will only use your details to help personalise communications and records, regarding any competition held by The Association.
We will make sure our contact with you is relevant to Golf, and based on the information you give us. You can opt out at any time. All you need to do is change your consent, by using the contact form and submitting. But remember, if you do ‘opt out’ of giving us the information, then you may be wrongly entered into a competition or match.
